  4. they carried heavy burdons on their minds, emotional,spirital,fisical. they also carried alot of weight on them. water,gunz,pics,letters,diaries,condoms,bookes,cigarettes and matches,

  5. All the men traveling in Vietnam all carried the nessacities they needed to get through... but also they carried different emotions that help them get through these times.. ie Lt. Cross carried letters from Maria but in his mind he carried love and questions for her. Henry Dobbins:extra food, Ted Lavender: Tranqulizer Pills, Kiowa: hunting hatchet and mother's word for no trust of the white man.
